Guidelines for submissions in English:

1. Please include your affiliation and a 4-5 sentence bio.
2. Word limits. Please contact the editors to discuss the length of your submission. In general, texts should be no more than 6000 words, including notes.
3. Texts can be submitted in either Microsoft Word, Apple Pages or as a RTF file.
4. Texts are published in American English.
5. Paragraphs should be spaced at 1.5 lines with characters in 11pt font. Skip a space between each paragraph.
6. Single quotation mark should be used around single words or phrases. Citations should use double quotation marks with end punctuation appearing inside the final quotation mark.
7. Use endnotes following the Chicago Manual of Style Online Citation Guide found here.
8. Do not use abbreviations in the text (etc., i.e., e.g.)
9. Illustrations should be sent as separate JPG attachments, identified by a number and a name: 1.picture.jpg, 2.drawing.jpg…
10. At the end of the text include a list of all illustrations with the following information:
- identifying number and name
- illustration source
- name of photographer or artist
- copyright holder, or ‘no copyright’
- caption (name of architect/artist/designer, name of the work, location, date.)
11. Authors are responsible for securing reproduction rights for all copyrighted images in cooperation with the editors.

Préparation d’un manuscrit en français :

1. Merci d’envoyer votre proposition avec votre affiliation et un biographie du 4-5 phrases.
2. En général, les textes ne devraient pas être plus de 6000 mots, y compris les notes.
3. Les textes devraient être envoyés en format Microsoft Word, Apple Pages ou comme fichier RTF, composé en Times corps 11pt, interlignés 16pt exactement.
4. Pour les règles typographiques, merci de suivre les indications donner ici.
5. Merci d’utiliser les notes de bas de page en suivant les consignes donner ici.
6. Ne pas utiliser d’abréviations dans le texte. (etc., )
7. Les illustrations doivent être envoyées en pièces jointes au format JPG, identifiées par un numéro et un nom : 1.image.jpg, 2.dessin.jpg …
8. À la fin du texte, merci d’attacher une liste de toutes les illustrations avec les informations suivantes :
- le numéro d’identification et le nom
- illustration source
- Le nom du photographe ou l’artiste
- Titulaire du droit d’auteur, ou « aucun droit d’auteur » -
- légende (nom de l’architecte / artiste / designer, le nom de l’ouvrage, lieu, date.)
9. Les auteurs sont chargés d’assurer les droits de reproduction pour toutes les images sous copyright, en coopération avec les éditeurs.
